A shipping container was set up as an informal petrol station in a parking lot near Diani Beach Hospital, storing fuel above-ground under direct sun, powered by a generator, and positioned next to a power transformer — a serious fire and explosion risk.
Actions Undertaken
SCRA alerted County Authorities and the Sub-County Administrator to the hazard.
