Tiwi is a small beach settlement in Kwale County, roughly 17 kilometres south of Mombasa via the Likoni Ferry, served locally by Ukunda Airport. While neighbouring Diani has seen rapid tourism growth in recent decades, Tiwi has stayed comparatively quiet and less built up, retaining more of its original coastal character.
