Kinondo

Kinondo adjoins Galu Beach and is home to the Kaya Kinondo Sacred Forest, a site protected by the National Museums of Kenya and held sacred by the local Digo community. Development in the area has deliberately remained minimal out of respect for the forest's cultural significance, giving Kinondo one of the most secluded stretches of coastline on the South Coast.
